ABOUT JOYA
We thought happiness would come later.
After the next goal, the next achievement, the next experience.

OUR STORY
We experienced it ourselves.
We are Mika L’Espérance and Félix Beauchesne, the co-founders of Joya.
For years, we built a company believing that reaching the next goal would bring us greater happiness. It often brought satisfaction - but never for long.
Over time, meditation transformed the way we live. It taught us to move through stress with greater perspective, remain calm under pressure and keep a clear mind when life became demanding.
Most importantly, it showed us that we could cultivate a steadier sense of peace and a happiness less dependent on external circumstances. By caring for our inner state, we became more present, focused and creative - without sacrificing our well-being in order to move forward.
We realized that we could continue to aspire, create and achieve without waiting for what came next to feel fulfilled.
WHY JOYA
Caring for your inner state, naturally.
We have learned to care for our bodies, but far less for our inner balance. Yet stress, fatigue, mental overload and difficulty switching off are part of everyday life.
Through meditation, we discovered simple and deeply transformative practices. Today, we want to make them accessible and easy to integrate into the rhythm of modern life.
Joya was born from this intention.

OUR ROOTS
A modern practice rooted in ancient traditions.
Our approach is grounded in thousands of hours of personal meditation practice within the Raja Yoga tradition, particularly Kriya Yoga in the lineage of Paramahansa Yogananda.
Ayurveda, the sister science of Yoga, also enriches our understanding of habits, nutrition and balance in everyday life.
These traditions deeply inform Joya. Our role is to preserve their depth while creating an approach that is simple, accessible and suited to modern life.
GOING DEEPER
Two ways to explore our roots.
For those who would like to explore the traditions that inspire our approach more deeply, here are two books we recommend.
YOGA
Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda
An introduction to the depth of Yoga and its spiritual dimension.
AYURVEDA
The Complete Book of Ayurvedic Home Remedies par Dr Vasant Lad
A practical introduction to Ayurveda and its principles as applied to everyday life.
